I'm a stay at home mum to 2 lovely girls who have enlightened my life in a way I never thought possible. I have become increasingly conscious of the world we are leaving them behind, this thought has frightened me into figuring out how to grow and garden, and how to sew! Its also inspired me to set up my business "Tread Lightly Toys" selling eco friendly and fairtrade toys.
Now, I'm no computer whizz by any stretch of the imagination so running a webshop has been a learning curve to say the least. My passion for beautiful toys, determined nature and striving to leaving a sustainable world behind will hopefully lead to success!
I have so many plans and thoughts and ideas in mind for my small business, having 2 small people around all the time who wants to "help" and getting up and 5.45 every morning makes putting these into practise a little difficult :)

They are my harshest critics on any new toys that come in so you can be sure they have had the "Amelia and Alanah" stamp of approval.
